The Doors of Perception

There are things known
and there are things unknown,
and in between are the doors of perception.

Sit right down.

I love your reflective surface pictures. They allow one to venture into their own imagination. Have a great day/ weekend.

Hi Meri
My first impression of yesterday's shot was that it was a musical score on a wall...

today I went through an Italian door to Barano...

Happy Days
Ah yes, the Doors of Perception by Aldous Huxley... I was actually reading it the week I took my first drink when I was 15. Someday, I'll do that blog...probably soon. It was more interesting than the next 5 million drinks. And your picture, incredible. In all seriousness, your photographs all have a Meri-ness about them and would make a tremendous gallery exhibition.
I think this is your most beautiful shot of this genre yet! They just keep getting better! The reflections are so smooth, and the colors have minds of their own. Love the forest green morphing into the lime green... and that streak of orange. So interesting. you really should have a gallery show, Meri.
