Jury-Selected

I'm a bit surprised by an email I got yesterday.

This photo was jury-selected for a show

put together by photographer Peter Serko that runs
August 7 - Jan 8, 2012 at the Museum of Glass.

I've been invited to the opening on August 13,
along with others whose works will be featured.

Been to lots of openings,
but never as someone
with work in the show.

A new experience. . .

Congratulations! I just hopped on over here from Kim's, Queen of Arts, site to take a look at what Share the Joy Thursdays are, and then I saw this lovely news. That is just wonderful!

How exciting! The photo is wonderful, of course...the reflection is so clear and strong. The colors and composition are also striking. Don't you love it when everything comes together? Enjoy the moment! How did the photo get noticed?

CONGRATULATIONS!!! YAY, yay!!

I've been a blogging slacker lately. Jeffrey and Sloane were gone for two weeks and I spent those two weeks blessedly alone and virtually unplugged. Now we're on a two week trip. In Arizona now and I have a bit of time on the computer - finally! I was having withdrawls from being away from my blogger buddies so long, I tell you. I hope your summer continues to be as full of good news as it sounds here. Love to you and yours.
How cool is that!!. It is a great photograph! Congrats!
