spring water cascades
down a waterfall, rushing
past the old homestead

Great photo. I can sit and watch/listen to a gurgling stream for hours. The water never stops. This made me think of words in an Allman Brothers song:

It just keeps on flowin'

It don't worry 'bout where it's goin'

Love that thought about a flowing stream

Peace

You do such wonderful things with images.
Meri,
Somehow this reminds me of a waterfall one might see in Ireland. All the green moss around and the old fashioned look of it. It is just lovely. A beautiful capture for Spring. A new lease on life!

How beautiful! I love all the blue in the photo and your words were perfect.
Meri` Great haiku and image! I can hear the haiku, see it, and most of all feel the nostalgia of the old homestead. Love it!
