Meri,
This is exquisitely beautiful and deeply moving. I love the photo and the haiku resonates with me in places that will echo in my heart throughout the day. Thank you.

Deeply touching haiku, Meri. Kneeling quietly. Reminds me of the verse,"Be still, and know that I am God."

The haiku doesn't always work for me. But this one is quite beautiful.

This is a beautiful, heart-full sentiment. Somehow my happy-happy comment doesn't match. But still...

Have I visited yet and told you how thrilled I am that you are playing along with me in the swap? Well, I am. I'll be sending an email in an hour or so. Yay! Thanks so much for participating. Blessings to you, my friend. ~ Relyn

This is especially poignant after reading your above post about the child who lost his Life. So much sadness.
it is a wonder for one to hold the world's sorrow, a heavy burden that would make one kneel.. the foto folds around the words as if in confirmation....
