Beautiful Haiku perfect idea to us the Geisha a fascinating world. Love it.

I did a post a while back on the 'tea ceremony' using the movie Sayonara as the back drop.

This is very cute. Thanks.
By the way, do they have geisha geezers too? Just a thought.

All the best, Boonie

your haiku brought the memoirs of a geisha book and film - which have been among my most treasured book and watching experiences for some time now. the purposeful use of cultivated beauty . . . . the price. a lot to reflect on. steven

This reminds me I never did see that Oscar nominated (winning?) movie.

Lovely artwork for this too!

It is a beautiful Haiku, and it does remind the reader of the great cost of this kind of life for the woman who becomes part of the Geisha culture in girlhood. None of us will ever know really. Beautiful artwork.
