Mosaic Monday: Viva Italia

I am obviously feeling the bite
of the travel bug.

Italy beckons.
Its siren song is nearly irresistible.

Left (top to bottom): Sirmione, Milan's Duomo, Murano
Center: Murano, Cinque Terre, Venice - looking through
an arch toward the Doge's palace
Right: Venice's Doge's Palace and San Marco, Venice,
Venetian Painter

To visit the other sites
participating in Mosaic Monday,
visit Mary at Little Red House.

And if that doesn't give you enough inspiration,
check out my friend Cathleen Shattuck's
celebrating the Year of the Tiger festivities
in Seattle's International District
and Chinatown.

That could be a postcard for the Italian tourist board. Just lovely.

Hmmmmm - is your word verification like an astrological reading? Mine says, "horni" ... :)

Hi Meri, thanks for stopping. I too lust for travel, but am old as dirt and not much income these days so I will just look at pictures. So good to have a nice resources, such as your blog, to check out. I have traveled pretty much for an average person on this side of the world, never been to Europe or the far East though. Blessings.

absolutely lovely. i want to go back so desperately. still need to somehow loan my blurb book to you or meet you and show you in person.

going to artfest this year? i am and also took a giant leap and signed up for squam in september. am i crazy?

on another note, my ol' beloved megazoom broke. dslr or another megazoom. plagued by indecision for months now and too many forums and sites have been visited. any recommends or sage advice?
Lovely postcard-like mosaic ... most enticing! Makes me want to find my slides of Europe from long ago and get them transferred to a DVD where I can enjoy them and perhaps share as well.
Hugs and blessings,
