A Wee Bit o' Green

For your St. Patrick's Day pleasure,
I can't offer you green beer,
but here's a little touch of the Emerald Isle.

Doolin - traditional Irish music center

near Sligo

Newgrange in the Boyne River valley

pub in Galway

looking back toward the Cliffs of Moher

May you learn the secrets of the Shining Ones.

Thanks Mei. I'm off to Ireland for the first time ever, in the middle of the year, reluctant traveler that I am. I look forward to seeing all that green. Thanks.
Thank YOu! Definite a green place.

Strangely, I grew up in England but have never visited Ireland. It was on the 'some day, no hurry' list, but then we surprised ourselves by moving to California. :)
Definitely a lovely country!
Beautiful and lush---I want to be there!

I love Ireland and my sweetest memory of it was breaking a high heel walking on cobblestones. Lesson learned. No green beer here, just a shot of single malt to toast the good friends who bring smiles and memories when they post. Sláinte!
