Fathomless Mystery

"Listen to your life.
See it for the fathomless mystery it is.
In the boredom and pain of it,
no less than in the excitement and gladness:

touch,
taste,
smell your way
to the holy and hidden heart of it,

"A Tiny Bit of Chihuly" - photo copyright 2009 Meri Arnett-Kremian.

because in the last analysis
all moments are key moments,
and life itself is grace."
- Frederick Buechner

How much richer life is
if you give thanks
for the mystery
and grace.

Thank you all
for being in my life in this amazing e-way,
for inviting me to share your thought life,
for sharing in mine.

"all moments are key moments", how very true. That was a beautiful poem you printed. I must look up Frederich Buechner and learn more about him. But what I really want to comment about is the mesmerizing, absolutely beautiful collage you showed. It is a collage, right? It is like a mirror of many faces, a mirror of the soul, I dont know what else to call it. I love it. You are quite an artist!

It's a photograph of a tiny piece of a massive Chihuly glass installation. It's amazing, isn't it?

Oh my you can write. Girlfriend, you can write!!!
Seems to me that depth and complexity in art signals an artist/photographer who works from the soul and lives in gratitude and grace, as evidence by your photo and your words.
I think I would like to come and spend a week with you, shooting and writing an article for American Artist magazine. Getting the magazine editors to agree with the project would be easier, of course, then getting my wife's agreement. Oh well.

Hey all - Maybe we should organize a blog camp and Mark, you can be our token guy (unless others volunteer). We can shoot photos until we drop.
