The old haiku masters are both wise and enigmatic. Have you read anything by Masaoka Shiki (1867-1902) or Yosa Buson (1716-1783)? I think you'd enjoy their work.

Yes I Know what you mean, we started watching some Japanese based TV as a refreshing change, their relationship to the blossom tree is something special and lifting, as are your words and image.

I have to say Meri, that I can connect with your haiku this week. It is beautiful and I love the traditional image. There are always trials and yet we must maintain hope that Spring always comes and angels are afoot. I am trying to keep that in mind.
