I'm glad my haiku made you laugh. That's just what I did when I found my silly basenji curled up in my clean laundry.

But I'm sorry you lost your own friend. Dogs become so much a part of our families, don't they? And you can't replace them easily. I hope sometime when you're ready you will find a puppy who will share a new place in your heart and home.

Meri I just saw your haiku and this brilliant photograph. It is like a colored crystalline dreamcatcher. Marvellous, so ethereal that it seems like something out of a dream in its own right. Your haiku is gloriously fitting. Dreams are essential to traveling the labyrinth of the soul and finding the Self at the center of it all.
