Perseveration

Forgive me.
I'm perseverating.
Stuck for now on haiku.

Daylilies

So ephemeral.
Explode like vivid fireworks
but gone the next day.

It is alright to perseverate Meri. I am a Psych grad student so you have my permission. The lily is one of the loveliest I have seen. Your photo is exquisite and I adore the haiku. Very apt.
What a Beautiful Vibrant Lily you have captured!!! Nicely done! Love your moon photo in the post previous to it as well!

Fireworks indeed. This is an exquisite image, quite the opposite of the notion of perseveration.

It's full of life. As you say, it's explosive with colour.
of all the things to be stuck on haiku does seem fairly benign

yes daylilies are so ephemeral, but thankfully their explosions do go on and on for days on end

Amazingly beautiful pic ! They do explode like fireworks, then are gone & another takes it's place . I do enjoy them while they exploding.
Blessings,
