only a stone heart
could resist the temptation
of cool, clear water

take me to the river....

i would love to bathe this entire country in a pure cool cleansing river and let the pain, short comings and negligence of the powers that be drift away. nov. cannot come soon enough!
No stone heart here! I'm ready for the river, the creek, even the puddle!

I too, would bathe all that is hot, angry, and unable to see how beautiful this world is, as well as the wonder of our diversity, in this water of life. Such is the beauty that you share here Meri that soothes my own heart. Thank you for the beauty of your words and image.
A beautiful play on words and photo, Merit, and truly lovely.
Beautiful both in word and photo! I'd love to be sitting there! Have a wonderful weekend!

I would love to play, like a child, on those rocks and feel the cool water wash over me. This is awesome. !

This photo reminds me of holidays spend in France with the family - my little brother and I could never resist to play in small rivers like this...

Unfortunately, I'm afraid there are many stone hearts in this world. I guess they get what they deserve, right?
