Learning to Take Credit for Jobs Well Done

One thing I’m trying to learn to do
is celebrate my accomplishments
instead of saying, “Ah shucks, no big deal.”

So, all humility aside,
My “What Do Women Want?” piece

Won second place in the House of Set-acular Sets
Visual Journal competition.

I'm proud of myself -
for entering
for winning
but most of all,
for finding a way to include fun
 and creative expression
in every day.

congrats meri and brava for acknowledging yourself and your accomplishments here. it IS so difficult for many of us (women, especially) to do this - but there is great power when we celebrate, lift, and hold one another up. cheers! (such a beautiful work, too)
