Bracelets

Think of everything you've ever been through
and try to reinterpret it gently.
All the love you ever gave was real.
All the love anyone ever gave you was real.
Everything else was simply an illusion,
no matter how bitter or cruel
it might have been in your experience.

- Marianne Williamson

Adornment or cuffs that bind?

It's up to you.

Marianne Williamson sounds like a very wise woman.

I love the look of bracelets, but the feel of them hanging about my wrists drives me doolally.

OH, Meri, this is so profound. What do we see--adornment or cuff? It's all the same and it's all love. Yes! xoO

I chose to be adorned by the beauty that comes from knowing my sisters here, the caring and sharing of love and encouraging wisdom.

Bless you Meri,

Reminded me of the The Devil Tarot card, where the chains around the lovers' necks are loose - they have the choice to remove them if they choose.
Lovely Bracelets !
My two favorites that I wear whenever I leave the house are my Pandora charmed bracelet (still gathering charms slowly like experiences. the bracelet is only half full) and my silver cuff with the words "Rock Fairy" engraved on it ( a gift from Patti Digh, the author of Life is a Verb.). Adornment or armor but not cuff that bind in this case ! ;-)

You packed a punch with this one, Meri! You gave me pause to think, both in words and through imagery. And I LOVE the bracelets!

Great quote!!!

Adornment for me ... I love this style bracelet ... gems or designs on them are often an introduction into a conversation! :-)
