Hi Meri

I have just finished reading 'Lost in Translation' by Nicole Mones, a novel based on the original work... of Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, about looking for the remains of Peking Man in China...
and in the book one phrase kept jumping out at me. It is the formal Chinese farewell comment:

Level Road
Peaceful Journey

It seemed to suit your post today...

Happy days Meri

PS. when is Venice?

hello meri! to the degree that is possible and with all my flags flying i wander down the road of my becoming with a smile on my face. there are days when that smile masks undercurrents, sorrow, the effects of a blind canyon, but i continue onward. i love the chinese farewell comment in delwyn's comment. steven

Steven: Your comment solidifies what I know of you through your writing. And Delwyn's farewell comment is apropos, isn't it?

Too often we focus on the destination or get lost in where we've come from.

Thanks for the reminder, Meri. Let's all enjoy the journey.

Not here ;) and I am enjoying it, particularly this latest span of it. Just when you think that you are so tired your bones are going to collapse inside your body, the sun comes out for a bit - and sometimes a bit is all I need - and life comes rushing in and I am on my feet enjoying every second of the journey...all over again. Spring may have something to do with right now.

I love it, Meri. That's really all there is.

Thank you for stopping by and saying hi, even when I haven't posted in a while. It's nice to feel that one hasn't been forgotten!
