I have been reflecting on joy this week, amidst the sorrowful happenings the cowardly act of terrorism in Boston, of course the death of friend's husband from a massive heart attack (he was a mover and shaker in the community and one of the nicest, most grounded guys around) Those kinds of occurrences can make joy seem    out of reach. On the other hand,    those kinds of occurrences are an invitation for us to cultivate joy, to notice and appreciate those precious moments when everything seems right with the world, when children say or do something amazing, when love -- old or new -- seems bright and shiny, when something touches our heart in ways large or small. By noticing, by appreciating, we anchor those moments of joy in our heart and allow them to remind us there is hope even in our moments of greatest darkness and challenge. Share the Joy. 1. do a post that tells and shows what gives you ...
