Share the Joy: Big News

I'm excited to announce that

closing on the sale of my house

will be early next week,

either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Yippee!

I'm beginning to focus on the new house

while packing up dishes and pots and pans,

books, towels, mops and brooms,

and lots of art

and art supplies from the old house.

It's time to 

of my deep sense of "home" with the old house

and make the new digs my home,

both physically and emotionally.

It's also time to get serious about paring down

the stuff, as there's not room to hang on to things

like there was in the old house, 

which was almost twice the size of the new,

more modest home.

What I don't have room for will find new homes, 

so I'm happy about that.
