Yes. I love the unveiling of the mystery. The welcoming a new phase. Expansion. Settling into the silence. Knowing what's next will arrive at exactly the right time. I just have to open to receive.

If what we notice in the world around us is a sign from the Universe trying to get our attention pushing us in the direction of greater love more joy soul perfection what, specifically, is the Universe trying to say?

One thing I've learned about cultivating JoY is that when you start looking for it, it shows up everywhere. In the weirdest places. In unbelievable forms and shapes. Like this guy. . . . found in an antique store in Thorp, Washington. It's a kitschy pitcher.   Trying saying that fast 5 times. I dare you. I bet you can't do it without laughing. And letting the JoY leak in. The crazy pitcher made me laugh out loud. If I hadn't been in a "paring down, simplify" phase of my life, I absolutely positively would have brought him home with me. Simply for the smiles he'd evoke. (Instead, I bought a beautiful embroidered handkerchief to add to my stash of beautiful nose wipes.) How are you cultivating joy? Now that summer's almost herem the roses are blooming, hummingbirds are engaging in winged acrobatics, it's time... You know you want to. Take a break and soak in amazement at the beauty all around you.

I know I drive some people mad because I rarely have my mobile phone turned on. . .  but I don't see any reason to always be at someone's beck and call. Remember the good old days when you could get a little peace and quiet by leaving the house and venturing beyond the ring of the phone (and telemarketers). If I'm meeting someone and worry they'll need to call me to say "I'll be late by about 5 minutes" or "I got us a table in the back by the windows" then I try to remember to turn the darn thing on (if the battery isn't dead). But it makes a dandy portable camera.

Are you taking time to notice moments of joy - to cultivate your capacity for wonder and exuberance and  feeling an influx of pleasure so sweet it might bring tears of JoY to your eyes? My joy this week comes from blue skies, puffy clouds  that move across the sky like polka dots, and warm temps Finding sunflowers in buckets at the market Seeing these roses blooming in the lower garden (I hope I left the tag on the bush because I don't remember what they're called) and finding out I passed my coaching written exam with flying colors.
