Share the Joy: Field Trip

Fun day today, with a multifaceted field trip.
On the down side, I brought neither camera nor phone,
so I'll have to wing it for illustrations this time.

First, my daughter and I browsed a couple of antique stores
and then bought some truffles at the candy store.

Her girls had a half day of school due to conferences,
so  we met the school bus
and headed off to Port Gamble,
an historic town from the 1850s or so.
After a yummy, late lunch and a short sweep
 through the gift shop.

Serenity found some buffalo jerky

and Jonna

found a bottle of fizzy, peach flavored soda.

Meri, What a lovely post. The photos of the girls are excellent--how could one not feel joy with them around. Mickie :)
